Hi all, hope you're well!

For Halloween this year, I didn't dress up or Trick or Treat, but a couple days before Halloween some of my good friends and I went to Gröna Lund! Gröna Lund is a very popular amusement park on the water of Stockholm!

This was my first time going to Gröna Lund and it was amazing. I am not a big ride person, so I'm usually standing off to the side holding everyone's bags, which is fine by me, but this time, everything was decorated for Halloween, and there were a couple Haunted Houses I was able to experience! We spent nearly three hours there, and I got home a lot later than I planned to.

We started off the night by taking photos and walking around since we hadn't been there before. They had a lot of actors that were dressed up and walking around. They were super cool! Not super scary, but they liked to run toward groups of teenage boys and hear them scream 😂 It was absolutely packed, so we ended up splitting up for dinner and getting whatever we felt like instead of trying to get a table in one of the restaurants. There were also quite a few shops that had a bunch of Halloween things and merchendise that I looked at. Even though I didn't go on the rides, I had an amazing time!

The Haunted House we went to was super fun, as well! It wasn't scary, more just eerie and creepy. There was one part of the house where the floor turned "squishy." That was freaky. It felt like you were walking on a bunch of foam. It was super dark, so you were barely able to see what was in front of you. We stayed together in pairs, so one of my friends and I stayed practically glued together, squeezing each other's hands to the point of pain. Now that I write it out, it doesn't seem like a lot of fun, but I promise it was!

My dilemma of the night started about an hour before we left, though. I kept seeing all of these people that had pumpkin hats on, and I fell in love. I made it my mission to aquire one. (Spoiler alert, no pumpkin hat was found.) I spent nearly the last hour I was there running around, praying that I would find one remaining pumpkin hat. It seemed everyone had one. At one point, I passed a worker with his arms full of pumpkin hats. I stopped dead in my tracks and stared at him. He also stopped dead in his tracks to stare at me. Then he slowly walked away, and my friend had to drag me away from the spot I was glued to. I sadly did not find that worker ever again. I started asking every worker I saw where I could get a pumpkin hat, but I was only given deadends.

Eventually, I gave up and accepted defeat. I left the park with tears in my eyes. I still have not been able to locate a single pumpkin hat. A true tragedy.

Talk soon!

Älskar dig!
